We have been striving towards expanding our business as a power solution provider. This has become a reality as we have achieved a key milestone at the beginning of 2022 by entering into the renewable energy ("RE") industry through a Strategic Partnership Agreement ("Agreement") between SWG Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd ("SWGT"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of our Company and Samaiden Sdn Bhd ("Samaiden"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samaiden Group Berhad ("Samaiden Group").
Samaiden Group has experience and technical expertise as an environment solutions provider and through this collaboration, we believe we can contribute immensely to the environment and provide more business opportunities within the industry.
Under this Agreement, the Parties will initially focus on projects relating to solar photovoltaic ("PV"), including smart or microgrid systems in Sabah and Sarawak — SWGT will support in design, research and development, and related works, while Samaiden will supply the necessary products and technical support for upcoming projects.
We look forward to the fruitful outcome of this partnership.
