Design, Supply and Delivery of 12m Steel Poles and Accessories for Covered Conductor System under Rural Electrification Project

We were thrilled to be able to contribute to the efforts of the Rural Electrification Scheme (RES). The power distribution line that connects Murum and Belaga in Sarawak is nestled in a broad geographical landscape that encompasses twisting rivers, dense jungles, and steep terrain, making electrification activities challenging.

Our team worked on the design and delivery of the 12-metre steel poles, as well as the steel pole foundation system. This was a pilot project in Sarawak that witnessed the first use of 12-metre steel poles with PVC covered conductors, with the goal of reducing harm to the ecosystem and, in the long term, easing maintenance work in remote and inaccessible areas.
